Hiking
250 km of hiking trails for different levels of difficulties stretch out over our mountains and valleys. For experienced pros or beginners – every hiking fan finds his individual access to nature and the right route to enjoy the ´Tux landscape´ to the full. We offer professionally guided tours you surely will enjoy and you won´t forget.
Mountainbiking
Guests how prefer to explore nature by bike have the chance to discover a lot. Many hiking trails are as well capable for mountainbike tours. Once steep once quite easy to bike. Thomas is looking forward to drawing individual tours just like you wish the level of difficulty. From July until September we do offer special mountainbike weeks.
Climbing and mountaineering
“Olperer, Großer Löffler, Reichenspitze“ – some of our among mountaineers well know summits beyond 3000m height.
The region around Tux is a famous climing territory. We certainly conciliate you to one of the resident mountaneering schools, if you plan to climb the roof of “Tirol” yourself.
Canyons and caves
There is a lot to discover. How about visiting the cave "Spannagelhöhle”? Everybody who went skiing on the glacier had already crossed over the labyrinth of the cave. This cave is unique in the world, because it by all rules could not exist. With helmet and protective clothing you can explore the narrow paths in guided tours and you will surely be fascinated. Guests who prefer to stay on the surface can run riot at canyoning. In different canyons and gorges there are brilliant posibilites to descent mountains along the rivered.

Children`s program 2012
Every week: Family torch hike to the Tux Giant - Nocturnal torch hike especially for families! Young and old will sample an unforgettable experience on the mystic trip to the "Tuxer Riese". Meeting point is at 8.30 p.m. at the band-stand in Tux-Lanersbach.
Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.: Tennis course - Game, set, match. The tennis instructors will show how it`s done and give valuable tips for future tennis pros. Racquets and balls will be supplied. For children from 6 years of age. Costs for all three days: € 11,-- (incl. certificate). Meeting point and booking: Tennis courts in Tux-Lanersbach.
Snow Flea Park, Spannagel Cave and Nature`s Ice Palace.
Kids:
Guided tour through the different subsurface aisles in the Spannagel Cave, and then the kids take a ride to the highest playground on 3.250 m, the Gletscherflohpark! The facilities can be borrowed there (From children from 3 years!)
Teens:
Discover the glacier ice from the Nature`s Ice Palace on the Hintertuxer Glacier and then there is a trekking tour to the Spannagel Cave. Costs: € 25,-- incl. cable car and lunch - for children below 10 years (no need to play for the cable car) and price for the lunch will bei € 5,50. Registration until Wednesday 5.00 p.m. at the Playarena in Tux-Vorderlanersbach. Meeting Point: 9.45 h at the Playarena in Tux-Vorderlanersbach, returning at approximately 4.00 p.m. Important: Warm clothing, good footwear, sun protection and sunglasses!
Every Sunday:
Children`s games parties - At the end of every eventful holiday week takes a big children`s games party place. There are fascinating attractions like the bouncy castle, skill games or you transfrom yourself into a princess or a purring cat in the make-up tent. Every Sunday (03.07. - 04.09.2011) at the playground at the Tux-Center in Tux-Lanersbach, 1.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m. - in case of bad weather at the Playarena in Tux-Vorderlanersbach.
Every Saturday from 1.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m.:
Playarena indoor& outdoor world of experiences covering 1.000 m² - Go-cart track, pleasure climbing tower, trampokine-park,.... Entry: € 6,-- to € 7,--
