End of week hike to the Klausenalm pasture

Weekly Berghaus tour to the “most popular mountain shack”

Unfortunately, the best hiking weeks have to come to an end but, each Friday, we celebrate with a particularly lovely hike. We walk together from the hotel to the shack on the rustic Klausenalm pasture in the Zemmtal Valley. The pasture, which has long been managed as purely forestry land, has been a popular hiking destination for locals and guests alike since 2010. The shack, run by the Geisler family for three generations, was honoured as the “most popular mountain shack” by the skiareatest.com platform.

Once you arrive at the Klausenalm pasture, 1,301m above sea level, we’ll enjoy a hearty snack and be entertained by musicians. Local, Zillertal delicacies are served, as is a little schnapps. So that all guests can participate, there are easy and medium variants, with one mountain guide assigned to each difficulty level. The two groups meet just before we reach our goal so we can all arrive together. You shouldn’t let this fantastic end to the week pass you by!
