Dogs at the Alpinhotel Berghaus

Your faithful companion is always welcome! Your dog can stay with us for only € 24.00 per day (without food). We ask you to bring a cozy blanket or basket for your dog as well as a muzzle for the use of public transport. We ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. However, you can dine together with your four-legged friend in the cozy fireplace room.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are dogs allowed at the Alpinhotel Berghaus?

Yes. Dogs are welcome year-round, regardless of breed or size, and in any room category. The fee is 24 euros per day. Your dog is welcome to join you in the Fireplace Lounge for dinner; we’ll provide a blanket and food bowl upon request. All rooms are cleaned to meet allergy-friendly standards.

Are meals included in the price?

The ¾ gourmet board plan is not automatically included but can be added to any room reservation. It includes breakfast, an afternoon snack, and a multi-course dinner, much of which comes from our own Aue farm. Suites and Green Living Apartments also feature their own kitchen and can be booked on a self-catering basis.

Can I use the wellness area on the day of arrival and departure?

Yes. The 1,500 m² ALPIN SPA is available free of charge on the day of arrival and the day of departure. A bathrobe and sauna slippers are provided in your room.

How far is it to the Hintertux Glacier?

The Hintertux Glacier is just a 3-minute walk away, and the Eggalmbahn (Ski Zillertal 3000) is a 7-minute walk away. The ski bus stops right in front of the house and runs every 10 minutes.

What is the difference between rooms, suites, and apartments?

The rooms are located in the main building and do not have a kitchen; this is our core offering. Suites and Green Living Apartments are located in the second building, are connected to the main building and the wellness area via a tunnel, and feature their own kitchen. They can therefore also be booked for self-catering.

Is the ski pass included in the price?

Ski passes are not automatically included, but we're happy to arrange them upon request. You can rent skis through our partner, with same-day pickup and return.
