The glacier bus takes you from the valley station up to an elevation of 3,250 meters. The ski season runs from late September into the summer; in midsummer, the glacier takes a break. There are approximately 49 kilometers of slopes and 20 lifts covering all skill levels.
Even if you don't ski, it's worth the trip: The Natur Eis Palast is located in a glacier crevasse, and from the Frozen Wall, the view stretches far across the Zillertal Alps.

The Eggalmbahn starts in Lanersbach, a seven-minute bus ride from the house. Wide, sunny slopes and rarely crowded—ideal for relaxing days and for anyone who’s still learning.
From the Rastkogelbahn in Vorderlanersbach, eight lifts take you across toward Penken and Mayrhofen. If you want to rack up the kilometers, this is the place for you.

One pass for the entire region
The Zillertal Super Ski Pass is valid in all Zillertal ski areas. Within the Zillertal 3000 Ski and Glacier World, a single ticket takes you from the glacier all the way to Mayrhofen.
Freestylers will find three parks: the Betterpark and the Family Park on the Hintertux Glacier, as well as the Penken Park in Mayrhofen.

Ski Storage, Rentals, and Service
Skis and boots can be stored overnight in the ski room in the hotel. You'll find ski rentals and a ski school in town; you can pick up a discount card for these services at the front desk. And if your edges or base start to wear down, our partner, Bernhard Sportmode, will pick up your skis right at the hotel.
The ski room is located below the Green Living Apartments and is connected via a tunnel to the main building and the suites with private spas. This means you can reach your equipment while staying warm.
